And the idea of life hacks when regarding psychedelic experiences, I think one of the best preparations possible is the fine tuning and furnishing of the mind with spritual and transcendent ideas. The old 'well check your mood before diving in' evolves to know yourself, know god, know your darkness make it familiar, research thoroughly the history function possible pitfalls of all mind altering experiences. When you break through to the other side prepare for these concepts of spiritual, ancient, deep meaningful mythological metaphor should understand the intentions and benefits of those brave scouts of other worlds who got their before us. I confidently suggest searching for a modern system of morals and discipline within larger narratives, the comic book version of training montages from martial arts films in the 80s. I just suggest directly things like  X-Men, Avengers and Justice League and every personality archetype one can mold from such examples as Moon Knight, Doctor Fate, Wolverine or Batman, Swamp Thing or Death, etc...the idea is to fill out the same personality understandings as there are zodiac signs, personalities, insight and intelligence, to essentially profile them into a system of types of people and intelligences otherwise alien or AI. These archetypes might really save you from your own demons at a critical moment

I consider, in all seriousness, comic book mythology to be as valid as any worldly tradition many of them highlight, demonstrate, and discuss exotic science, the occult, and mythology the world over as well.

When all is said tired and done, its best to remember you could 
*face your darkest self (only the darkest perception of your inner self) this could be trickery from some entity, a personal  hang up, or the adventure you desire unconsciously, you'll be fine.
*Your ego craves representation, a strong voice, and admiration remember its not you its left over genetic hierarchy prepared to fight or colonize or survive, etc... remember this
*If there's a light, an unprompted idea flow, a loving caring being or place embrace it.
When things are amplified and plugged in all the way it takes very little effort to move from intention and will to physical change, real healing mentally and otherwise, in other words the force, magick, the manipulation of the matrix to your will , are all in your hands, of course repetition and deeper sessions, infinite curiosity and an open mind can be such a very powerful thing.                                                                                                                                                                                *entities you do, or completely don't, recognize as characters, mythological and spiritual figures may appear some childish and demanding of games and silliness, others seem so omnipresent and hyper intelligent the mind is overwhelmed by the mere shared space. They will shame you joke on you confuse you, inspire you, confuse you, the whole spectrum, just don't let fear shape your covered ground mentally.
The entire enigma of the bad trip, precisely obeying  the rules of it's opposite, the great trip is all you. Just you. you can change the weather with a thought.
*If you find yourself sinking into an overwhelming darkness, witnessing the instantaneous death of everyone you love, every being you believe in, it all cashes down in a panic and this is a bad trip. If you can recognize and furnish the mind with mythology for every being , meaning for every thought, a survival guide to human darkness and accept it you'll be fine. Fighting the vision without genuinely accepting it will drive ya a bit mad friends.
